Sun Gold tomatoes help

Last week my Sun Gold tomatoes suddenly looked like they had suffered from frost, but we didn't have one. Can anyone tell me what happened to them?

Other friends had the same problem.

The fruit, or the plants? Fruit going grey-brown - blight. Plants drooping - a cold snap or drought (may not be cold enough to freeze, but tired tomatoes can suddenly suffer from 4 degrees or so. Remember, they are tropical, and won't appreciate a sudden drop in temp.Phil J

The plants. The fruits are fine and I ripened them on the windowsill but the plants were very unhappy.
