I had snowdrops last year. this year they look more like Leucojums with longer, wider leaves. The flower stems are long too. Can there be a connection as I know it's too early for Leucojums?
The smallest clump was much bigger last year and we’re definitely ‘proper’ snowdrops.

How about a picture?

My Leucojums are in flower, so I don’t think it can be too early for them.

Mine are also in flower. There are several species of them. They could be snowdrops that are just better this year as they have had a chance to settle.
A photo would be good as Owd suggests.

Those definitely Galanthus but maybe not G. nivalis which have a more glaucous leaf.(Unless as I have been reading elsewhere they lose their glaucousness as they mature).

Definitely snowdrops and some of mine have very large leaves but I have no idea which species they are.

Thank you all. I think I prefer my snowdrops to be small but at least there are flowers. Much better than none at all and in the long run, does it really matter? Nope, but thanks again anyway.

It only matters if you intend splitting the clumps and selling the surplus.

Perhaps they just love your garden! There are many different varieties so perhaps they just get bigger with TLC.
