Live in pacific NW. have had hot days and cool nights. Gets morning sun. Thanks in Advance. I’ve looked and looked and still not sure what it could be. Also, sprayed with need oil yesterday.. been also deep soaking it. So maybe overwatered?

It looks as if the leaves have been scorched. Did you water on the leaves ? and then maybe the sun scorched them ...

It could also be caused by a fungus.

Does the cool nights and hot days cause a morning dew? So the sun would make the leaves shrivel. If the shrub was not too large perhaps move it in the spring to a semi-shaded spot.
