My agapanthus in pots took a bit of a hit with the winter weather. However, they are slowly recovering. I’m reluctant to pull off the dry, dead leaves in case they don’t like the disturbance but is that what I should do?

Thanks Owd glad my instincts were right. They do look messy though.

I started some from seed last year and although by early spring they were showing decent progress, they now seem really stunted. Little development in their pots for a couple of months now and the weather is far too dry to risk putting them into the ground just now.
Seems the seasons are conspiring against us.

« My primroses are just coming into flower is this usual for this time of year
I would leave it as it is for the moment. They are not doing the new growth any harm. If the old leaves do get sodden, then you could carefully remove it, once the new growth is bigger.
