I think the original plant was a Salvia....over the last couple of months 2 different sets of leaves have appeared....could anyone identify them please.

the ones on the left look a little goat willow like but also verbena like. Not much help really. I'd be tempted to pot them on and see what ecomes of them. If willow then just compost later and if vebena flowers ;)

I thought verbena bonariensis. If you've had these before, you will probably get a few popping up each year.

the one on the right is a bramble.
the one on the left could be a salvia, but I dont think so. Do the stems come from the base of the dead stems? also are they scented?
