Colourful shrub for small porch.

I have a small enclosed front porch which has a garage wall on one side and is open on the other. It is north facing and gets virtually no sun. It also has a roof. Can anyone suggest a small, colourful shrub to stand in the corner between the house wall and the garage wall? I realise I shall have to water it as it doesn’t get any rain there.
