Solanum Standard in full bloom at the moment as there was a frost this morning. when is the right time to lift it and how. It will be kept in a shed over winter, and do I need to prune it first. Thank you to anyone who can help. BILL.

Is this a Solanum rantonetii? If so, it isn't hardy, so get it under glass or in a frost-free place ASAP. Is the shed light enough? Does it have a window?
I kept one of these over a winter, and cut it back to new growth in the spring.
If this is a different Solanum, please let me know.
