Hi was just looking for some advice regarding this rose, would you cut the large stem right back when the time is right, I believe it is a hybrid tea but not 100%

This one is suffering as most roses do not do well in containers as they need constant moisture and cool roots, I would cut this one back by one third, just above a bud and plant it out into the ground.

I feel I would do that and cut out all the brown stems.
