I have a fruit tree, long olive tree like leaves with a pointed spike at end of branches, very small sour green pear shape fruit. What tree is this?

Sounds like Pyrus salicifolia, the Willow-leaved Pear. It does produce fruit and they are very sour and stay green. Like a lot of the pomme section of the rose family with larger fruit, the seeds are probably spread once the fruit have fallen and start to rot. Wild pigs would have sought them out in the past from their fermenting smell and spread the seeds.
