Tomato plants

I am growing tomatoes in a grow bag on the patio. Until yesterday the fruits looked healthy and were growing well and just about to ripen, today the fruits are brown and the stems are withered. Why?

You have Phytopthora Infestins, better known as potato blight. Very common, no chance of cure.

It really does sound like weed killer damage. Plants usually show some sign of distress before dying.
