Hi Everyone!
I'm New here but Not to New to Gardening but Okay sometimes Plants can hold a Mystery to them and I cannot figure Out what it is so I need Other opinions and hoping that Someone Knows what I may have so Onto the Question:
Is almost lime green all summer and does have runners, I think. Or maybe just the seeds that produce all the extra plants. It turns bright pink in the fall then brown when it dies. If I leave it, it will blow away like a tumbleweed.
It is not "wirery" at all its soft and feathery in the summer, but once it starts to turn in the fall all the little feathery leaves turn to seeds. It's honestly the weirdest thing I have ever seen. There are More Pics of this Plant in my Section. If someone May be able to Help Identify it I would Appreciate the Help. Thanks

Hi Thanks to Everyone Welcoming me here. I wanna think the Tag marker said something about a "Fern" but somehow not so sure about that. Alas I did Not save the Marker.
I thought it was an Annual so I was surprised to see it come back. We have given it a Name though! We call it,"Cousin It" from the Addams Family..
One year we bought a Pair of Glasses, you know from a Joke Shop and we put it on and Looked just like Cousin it from the Show so it kinda stuck after that.
Anyhow I am hoping to locate what it is but then maybe not knowing is what makes this Mysterious Plant so Beautiful and the Best one in the Yard.

Bulbaholic I think you are on the same Wave length as I am. I keep thinking Ornamental Grass/Sedge but I doubt Heather because it dies off as it has now and turns Brown however I did google pics of Heather and Yes it does quite look similar.

Heron I do too! It has me scratching My Head as well, mind boggling to say the Least.

Welcome, Dlmno!
It's called Summer Cypress (Kochia scoparia). Seed for it used to be commonly sold for summer greenery and fall color, but a lot of states now have it on their noxious weed lists. It is a close relative of the common tumbleweed, aka Russian thistle, but is a lot softer in texture, as you know.

Agree with Tugbrethil - Kochia.

It looks like what we used to call burning bush. I believe Kochia is its correct name
