they will root from cuttings but not sure how late in the season this would be viable. I have just set my propagator up & will have a go tomorrow. My cosmo's are from american stock so would like to see if cuttings with gentle heat will strike plus seed collection of course.

If you're in the UK I assume you're going to overwinter them in a frost protected area. Is it not just easier to grow from seed in spring?
