how do i look after my parret plant

Answers

Not sure if you mean the Parrots Bill (Clianthus)

They are pretty tender and need to be in a very sheltered spot (maybe a west facing wall) protected from frost. Protect the roots as well if very cold weather.

No pruning needed - if getting a bit big then light trimming in summer.

If you mean the plant that's a cousin of Busy Lizzie -Impatiens niamniamensis - you need to look after it like Busy Lizzie, so keep it indoors on a north-facing windowsill as it doesn't like direct sun. Keep well watered but not soggy and take cuttings, which will root very easily, when it gets too big.
