I recently bought a parrot plant, (i had no idea what it was) but thought it would look nice on our patio around our pond, now that i brought it indoors, it started loosing all the leaves mostly on the tall stem, should it be trimed? and if yes how?

T, thanks for your reply, I will get the courage to cut back the stem, and feed the poor thing.

I would make sure it is getting enough light, first, and then cut the longest stems back to shorter side stems, not removing more than 1/3 of the plant at one time. A light feeding might be in order, too.
