How large is the plant Bernard and what size the leaves?

« Can this plant be left out all winter and does it need protection from frost
Hi Bernard looks to me like bay laurel which has a spreading habit if left but often trained into standards which then shaped and clipped. Should bear yellowish white flower spikes which aromatic.Laurus noblis is the latin name I think.
