Picea omorika 'Nana' is a fairly slow growing spruce. More rounded when young, but sooner or later will put up one or more leaders to become a dense pyramid with age. The older this tree gets the better it looks as it start to display the silvery undersides to its needles giving an almost two tone affect to the whole tree. Will be about 120 -150cms tall in 10 years. The best specimen I have seen is on the Rock garden in the Hilliers Arboretum, must be about 5 metres tall, and at least 50 years old. A very underrated dwarf spruce IMO.
