i want to grow from seed,i was told to leave on plant till dried out but its so wet i dont know what to do,help please

Cover your bean row with a Polytarp, like a tent.
When the pods are dry harvest them, putting them on old newspaper in a tray. Dust with flowers of Sulphur.
Take the beans out of the pods in November. Store in a paper bag.

You were told right, but how we are supposed to do it is beyond me.They may still ripen to the point when we can harvest them - or just hope for some dry weather, I suppose - or buy new for next year. That's what I shall do about my Sweet peas.
