Azalea problem...Can anyone help me answer this question which has been asked by someone on another forum.
"Does anyone know about wintering azaleas indoors? Mine have always done ok but this year they seem to be going off. Everything's falling off and they look like they're on their last legs. Is there anything I'm supposed to be doing? My mum says Baby Bio but that's her answer to everything garden-related"

Have they ever been re-potted or could they be pot bound?

Most problems seem to have been covered but could they have been overwatered which has caused to roots to die. Tipping the root out of the pot might identify a bug problem if the plants have been outside for the summer. Happy New Year everybody.

if 'you' have not had problems before is your room different? Has the heating been on longer/shorter/warmer/cooler? They often drop leaves because the air is too dry, do you mist them? Feeding wont help and too much food can also cause problems. Its been a lot 'duller' too with all the cloud base lately so lack of good light could also be a factor.
Hope this helps by raising questions that might be the clue.
