Re climbing jasmine

This question was asked of me by my dog walking companion this morning. She has a jasmine plant bought for her on mothers day 2007, no flowers as yet, she asked me if she should prune it, if so by how much?There are plenty of leaves on it though.

Depends wether winter ( yellow) flowers or summer (pink/white) jasmine. Both only pruned to keep tidy and would produce new flowers each year on new growth wether pruned or not.
If winter flowering then a little late to prune as would be removing the new growth bearing coming winter flowers.
If summer flowering ok to do now but unless really untidy no need to prune if hasnt flowered yet.Got the right position for it do you think?
