I have been given a humidifier would it work well in my heated greenhouse at the moment to gain about 40% humidity that I require for some delicate young plants that are growing at the moment

At work, we just hose the paver brick floor down once a day. A humidifier would work for a small grouping of plants, but if it is the "cool mist" type, don't use hard water, or softened hard water, in it--it will leave a salty, alkaline powder everywhere!
