Suggestions please for a plant that would do well in this bowl now that the hyacinths have finished.

years ago it was a fad to grow green leafy plants in a bowl-- need to be plants that like the damp and kept shady-- i think-- its a long time ago!

tells you how to prepare your container and NB it does say you do not have to place it on its side but upright will be fine. How about African Violets.

I would say some more Hyacinths, blue or yellow. Lots of them on sale in tight bud at the moment. They won't mind being put in a glass. I recently bought 2 sets of three, one for outside and one for the kitchen window ledge. They don't grow right if I try to bring them on myself.
