can i lift and split a fushia

Answers

You can't really split a fuchsia all that easily. Though might get a bit of root and shoot if you chop around the base of a mature plant that has spread a bit. The more usual way is to take cuttings. Maybe you want to downsize a mature Fuchsia??

Agree with Dorjac. Fuchsias take very easily from cuttings

you can certainly move it but I agree with the above comments, cuttings are the way forward.

I take it that the Fuchsia is a large clump, you can lift it and part it up with two garden forks back to back.

Whilst I agree with all , a few years ago I split my fucshia down the middle with a spade, gave half away and replanted the other. Its still thriving.

How do I say thanks?
