It's not mentioned in the 'International Poisonous Plants Checklist' and it doesn't appear on the HTA list of potentially harmful plants.
( You don't say why you asked the question so I don't know whether to say 'Don't worry' or 'Find something else'.)

I have one cat and a good number of hebes and the question has never entered my head. Never had any problems.

Thank you everyone. I need to know because I am in the process of making a secure garden for my two kittens as I live on a busy lane. I want to plant some bushy, shrubby type plants that the boys can explore and hide in and I couldn't see any mention of hebes on the toxic or non-toxic list.

i think dogs and cats realy have an idea what is ok or not . weather they just know or probably they can tell bye the smell just like us realy . not many people will enjoy something that smells horrible .

Trouble with my two is that they have not been outside at all yet and unfortunately they are at the age where they chew everything, just like children!! You have all put my mind at rest tho' so I will be getting some hebes. Thanks again all.
