Yes, you can sow it now if ground conditions are suitable. Rake and tread your top soil down to a fine tilth, do not add any fertiliser now. Be prepared for birds, cats etc.

It's a bit cold for grass seed yet, I would have thought. Of course, if it does get any colder, the birds will certainly thank you for putting out seeds!
