I have white, green and purple hellebores - the white flowers aways get eaten, but the green and purple are left alone. They are all clost togther. Could you tell me why this is please?
Thanks

perhaps they taste sweeter or just different due to the different pigments in the petals. There could be more insects on the white ones too, so birds peck them more.
