hardy gerraniums - recieved 5 of these last week from a nursery and they are growing very well. They are currently in an unheated conservatory. Should they have been planted out straight away, or should i harden them off and plant out around April? I also have a primula vulgaris, does the same apply to this? thanks

If they've been in your conservatory, you'll need to harden them off first, but they can be planted as soon as they've adjusted - I think you know what that means, Tilly, don't you?

will start to harden them off and then get them planted. thanks both of you for the advice.

Hardy geraniums are really tough cookies Tilly...I would put them outside in a sheltered spot for a few weeks then get them in the ground.....same applies to your primula.
