Hi, can any one suggest a rusty colored flowering plant for a container. It is going to stand on a red bricked patio, it will have the rose warm welcome behind it.

Echinacea or Rudbeckia? Or a Carex grass, or Uncinia, or Pennisetum rubrum (but more dark red than rusty).

there are some rusty red coloured verbascums. Dahlia, dwarf chrysanthemums,Violas/pansy come in that colour palette too.

Nasturtiums, Mimulus, Wallflowers, Chrysanthemums, Gerberas?
They all come in various rusty orangey shades if you pick the right ones.

I've only one at the moment but hope to get some in the spring instead of all bedding plants in the patio tubs and some have such lovely names!
