Cordyline plants rotting-any advice

We have 2 13 foot cordylines that are now losing their leaves in clumps and the base of the clumps are very soggy. Will the plants die or is their any action we can take.

Thanks

Robert

the sogginess at the base isn't a good sign - you may need to saw them down to the ground, when they may shoot from the roots below ground and grow into new plants. But don't take them down before mid March if you can avoid it, April if you're in a colder part of the country.

How do I say thanks?
