Seems Kenho does not understand your question Spritz!

Guess Kenho doesn't know there's a difference then - the largest will be the African marigold, Kenho, Latin name Tagetes erecta, but be careful which one you choose - some varieties are dwarf, so if you want a 3 feet high one, read the height label on the pack. Colours range from yellow through to deep orange.

Calendula are 'pot marigolds' Kenho - they're very easy to grow from seed and they're tall and eye-catching too.
I'm growing a bright orange one called 'Neon' this year.
French marigolds (Tagetes) are small plants, so I don't think that's what you're looking for.

Tagetes erecta isn't small, Spritzhenry - that's the large African marigold.

Yes, I know - sorry, I was trying to simplify things, having confused the poor man to start with!

African, French or Calendula, Kenho?
