why is it that the leaves drop off my phalaenopsis orchidee, after flowering when I have kept them ready for the next flowering,(care--moderatly bright-never direct sunlight-keep moderately moist-room temperture) all these I do and still they drop, I know they flower again year after year and I hve had wonderfull shows, but why do the leaves drop ???, thank you,

Does a leaf go brown and dead before it falls off? That's perfectly natural - no problem. If more leaves are dropping and if they're still green, it could be that water is getting into the 'crown' of the plant and causing rot.
