Replanting of laurel

I have a laurel hedge (Prunus laurocerasus) which I am to remove, will I be ok to replant with another laurel hedge?
The reason I say this is laurel is part of the Rosacea family and Roses and fruit trees suffer from replant disease - do Laurels suffer from this?

Yes, follow on is sure to be in the hedge. You could cut the shrubs to ground level now, treat the area with Armillatox.
To plant new stock you will have to remove all the shrubs and replace the soil to at least 18 inches deep, again watering the area with a solution of Armillatox.
