do you have a photo to show that includes some foliage? Looks vaguely like phlox, but more detail would be helpful. Is it scented? What time of year does it flower?

Definitely need a better photo that doesn't have the pale band in the middle.

I'd agree that it looks like a Phlox, but without foliage, height, etc. it's tricky to be certain.

Thank you so much for the answers to my question. Unfortunately, I only have this photograph, not the physical plant. I thank you for your help, a friend contacted me and apparently Phlox Subulata is probably the nearest I can get.
