what is the plant

found in my yard a plant growing that the top above ground is pinkish and looks like a penis under ground it was white roots with a white ball on it can you tell me what it is

Possibly a fungi of some sort , there is one that resembles a phallus, but it is white and has a ghastly smell. Posting a photo it may help to identify it.
