In a pot minimum 18 inches deep in multi purpose or John Innes No. 2 potting compost. Not sure what else you want to know, bit of a cryptic question really.

Yes, a deep enough pot, and place next to a wall with trellis for it to climb, OR a cane structure in the pot with it, it can't climb without a support [a bit like me!]All clematis are hungry and thirsty, particularly when in a pot, so feed and water regularly, but stop feeding when you see the flower buds forming [or all you get is a lot of foliage.]
