Hello every one, I am trying to locate some
" Hepatica seeds" The only place I can find is Ashwood Nurseries they say they sell them but they want to sell me plants instead. I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere else I can obtain some seeds?

If you get really desperate and only want the ordinary blue, white or pink ones then PM me in a couple of weeks and I will find you some to try.

Wherever you get them from remember that they have a very short life time. The seed needs to be sown fresh and kept moist until it germinates the following spring. Annoyingly I managed to buy some expensive seed at the Southport AGS show last year and this winter has been too much for even them, with no germination at all. Even my own seeds scattered around the mother plants have not grown either.
