Daughter bought me a Prunus incisa shrub today. It is in a pot. She said it will only grow to 3 ft but my gardening book says 9ft. Will I be able to put it in a tub so I can see it on the patio?

This is used by the japanese in Bonsai, have dealt with this in large pots before and for this occaisionally i have kept the root system in check by slight pruning of the roots and increasing the pot size over the years. julien
