Rodgersia question, I bought this plant last year and i loved it, There's no sign of it appearing, yet. I would like to know if any of you wonderfull gardeners grow this and if it has appeared yet in your garden? I can see it in the border, (browny lumps) but no green yet, am i just worrying over nothing, or is it to early to come through. Advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanx...

Actually, Ilex, in the north of Scotland ours is now in growth. Just hang on a bit longer, Daisy.

I planted one last year too and thought it had died, but it's just started shooting in the last day or so.

I too have one Daisy but mine refused to flower and the leaves were not as nice as they should have been so i moved it further along the bog garden and hey presto its growing lovely and looks very healthy.Perhaps it thought it was going on the compost. Thanks for your comments and will i ever get the hang of it. I really thought my pics. were following each other in order.

Too early, Daisy - down here in Devon ours are all still fully dormant right now, despite weeks of warm weather, so I wouldn't worry, particularly since you're in the North East.
