My special vegetable patch has been ruined by constant cat mess which although I tried to locate and dispose of I am now worried that I can never use this patch again for vegetable growing.
= Can the soil be used again or shall I throw it all away and then put chicken wire over the new soil?
- Could the old soil (which was new) be put back on other parts of the plant growing garden or do I have to dump it?

If it is just cat poo then as long as you remove that the soil is OK. Wash the veg before eating it, as you normally would do. I found if you put down some chilli or pepper all over the ground in your patch then cats keep away. You can get massive bags of these from ethnic shops or food stores that sell spices by bags - not jars.
