My sister has garria / silver tassle tree which has grown fungus on the leaves, the tree is 20 years ols at least and had been doing great before this, any ideas what may have caused this and how I can treat it? It's a 30ft tree.
Thanks Sharon

I used to spray mine with Provado and a fungal insecticide alternately and it disappeared relatively quickly.
Mine was about 20' and i used to use a stepladder to reach up, i sprayed about a third of its height and it cleared it all.
Using a systemic spray means the whole of the plant is reached anyway.

I think your sister has also asked this question. Unfortunately she omitted the fact that it is 30' high. Google sooty mould and check if that is what it is. A photograph of the damaged leaves would be useful.
