I have moved many agapanthus successfully .This is a good time of year to do it.As long as it is in a warm position and not in a frost pocket it should be fine.It doesnt need fertilising but does need soil which has good drainage as they prefer to be dry. If it is big enough you could also split it and put a piece in a pot as standby. Enjoy gardening Rose1949
