blackcurrent bush disease

The leaves of our blackcurrent bushes have brown stains on them and are shrivelled. Could someone tell me the disease they have and cure. Many thanks

Your bushes may be suffering from blackcurrant rust. This initially shows up as yellow patches on the undersides of the leaves in early summer. The suggested cure is to spray after harvesting the currants. Makes sure you remove all leaves this autumn and burn or dispose of them (but do not compost them) to aid plant hygiene
