I planted a robinia tree last year at the bottom of my garden and I am not sure if it has survived the winter. It has a few leaves on a couple of branches mainly on side shoots lower down the tree. The main branches at the top of the tree have no leaves or buds on them. Should I leave it for a bit longer, or cut off the branches that I think are dead, or cut it right down and hope it produces more side shoots?
Thanks

Thank you. I will wait, I looked at it today and think there may be a couple more buds on it so fingers crossed!

« Erysimums. Is it possible to propagate these and if so how and when, please?
I would wait and see for at least another month. I use to find mine were later than most trees.
