live in central texas and have all of a sudden many caterpillers on my wild sun flower leaves eating up a storm, hate to kill them but worried they will go on to the rest of my garden plants. Any suggestions? They are a brown with some red hairs and pretty hairy

Answers

I would spray them or dust them with some form of B. t. (Bacillus thuringiensis kurstakii). That will kill most of the caterpillars without harming people, pets, or wildlife.
