What's more important: Morning sun or Afternoon sun? I'm thinking in terms of a dwarf peach tree which gets about an hour of sunlight from 7 to 8 am and then dashes of sunlight from 11 to 12 and then about 4 full hours of direct afternoon sun. It's flowered well and is coming into leaf. I got it in early march. Will it grow well and produce fruit in the future? Thank you.

The problem with morning sun is if it has been frosty overnight and the peach is in blossom, the frost will damage the flowers. Secondly, I believe it is necessary to hand pollinate peaches, because they flower early in the year when there are limited pollinators about.
