Campis x tagliabuana Madame Galen.
I have one of these in my garden and lucky the frost only niped the tops so know have new growth coming.
Can you please tell me if you can take cutting or is this plant grown from seed.

Hi Gardenbug,
Campsis can be grown from seed, but all of the named varieties, such as Mme Galen, must be propagated vegetatively - i.e. by cuttings, layering or removal of their suckers.
Once established they do sucker quite freely, so, if you're just looking to produce one or two extra plants that's the quickest/easiest method to use. Otherwise they come quite readily from hardwood or semi-hardwood cuttings.
