Potted Blackberry?

I have a cultivated Blackberry [Just 'cos I wanted one], the down side is that I don't really have anywhere obvious to place it [steady on!].
So, as I was mis-planting my new Wisteria I wondered; "Could this be planted within a large pot"?? The blackberry not the Wisteria. I don't mind if it doesn't crop fabulously well - enough fruit for a Blackberry and Apple pie [Yum] will be fine.
I have had a bit of a looksee on the net etc - and my mate Geoff [Hamilton] doesn't say owt about it in his "Food from your Garden" bible - so thought I'd ask here.

Thoughts?

You might get away with it in a pot, sufficient for some fruit, but the pot should be a minimum of 10/12 inches wide by 18/24 inches deep.

My friend has one in a very large pot and we were eating her blackberries, (from the freezer) last Sun.
Go for it !
