are these earth worms

I saw these worms while on holiday recently and was wondering if any one knows what type of worm they are, as I think they would certainly churn the earth over quite effectivly if you had a couple of them in the garden

These are deely-bopper-rainbow-roundabout sun worshipping worms, very common in warmer climes therefore rarely seen in the UK, except on that one day in May. Honest
