Cobea..can anyone give me any information on what soil/conditions this plant likes? I have managed to germinate a couple of seeds and they have the first leaves and I am not sure what to do with them now. At present they are on my kitchen windowsill.

I was given a young plant, grown from seed, last year and planted it straight into one of my borders in the front garden.
There was about 5 or 6" of growth and i planted it into thin, poor, alkaline soil - no enrichment at all.
It had sun for most of the day and had a good baking, it was in a fairly windy spot too, but it did beautifully !
Lasted until the first frosts.
