I have had a lovely display of tulips in my tubs this year. I need the tubs for my million bells plants now but the tulips have not died back fully. What is the best way of keeping them for next year. Do I cut the foilage back or shall I dig them up and store them?

Neither option is great. Why not plant your million bells around the dying back foliage. It won't be there much longer and can be removed in a few weeks. It will be coming away from the bulbs as the million bells gets bigger.

How do I say thanks?
