I HAVE A TIRED LOOKING AND LISTLESS CAMELLIA IN A LARGE POT. THE LEAVES ARE BRITTLE, DISCOLOURED AND PATCHY IN GROWTH. IT STRUGGLES TO MAKE ANY BLOOMS BUT ALWAYS MANAGES TWO OR THREE. I WOULD LIKE TO ATTEMPT TO REVIVE SAME . CAN YOU ADVISE ON PRUNING ETC.

Previous question
Could you post a photo of your sad camellia Barry? You can add it to your question. Now some questions:
How long has it been in the pot, what size is the pot and when did you last feed.
Where is the pot sited, sunshine, shade, part shade.
Have you kept watered
To be honest camellias are happier in the ground, we had one in a pot for several years and it always struggled. Once in the open ground it romped away.
